“ I have been visiting Brunswick House for many years. I went on the first date with my husband there over 13 years ago. Now as a photographer I have captured many weddings and private events in the upstairs private rooms at Brunswick. I've also hosted 2 dinner parties there myself as I love the food so much. It's so charming and eclectic stuffed full of antiques and creaking old wooden floors. The sharing dinner menus for events and parties are a taste sensation. ”
“ The pork jowl is to die for!!! It melts in your mouth and the sauce is amazing but you do need some green on the side to balance that. My friend and I had an amazing time. Service was fantastic, the server who served us that night was passionate and attentive. Love the vibe and decor. Great menu just like the other restaurant Dove by Jackson Boxer. The only things I could pick on were the sesame oil was slightly over powering the Dexter beef (still enjoyed it very much!), the fries we ordered for the side look a bit below average for 7 and the bathroom need a bit of refurb. Otherwise, very recommended! will come back again ”

“ What a place! Well worth a visit to this huge and characterful Georgian manor house. We went for the Tuesday night jazz which was superb. Tiny little room in the basement. If you like 60's bepop, then highly recommended. Great musicianship. The restaurant upstairs looked good with a French/English menu. The place was busy but so many rooms that seating not a problem. Small but interesting selection of wines, cocktails and draught beer. I had an Austrian natural wine. ”
“ Hidden gem but now easily my favourite restaurant in Vauxhall and possibly the whole south bank. Weird and wonderful decor as soon as you step in you know there is something special. The food is unusual and do take the waiters recommendations for some sharing plates. Only downside was we had to go back to work after lunch so could not linger. 6 stars ”
“ I loved my visit to Brunswick House. It’s my second time visiting and everything has been perfect both times. It’s not obvious at first, but they have plenty of vegan options and I’d highly recommend the place for vegans as well as meat eaters. The service is excellent - the waiters are very knowledgeable. You can also tell the chefs put a lot of care into each dish. The building itself is stunning, it’s a really special location. Highly recommend. ”
“ Don’t bother with the cocktails. They try, but it’s not their thing. Stick to the wine list (generous, smart) and let the food do what it came to do, which is ruin you softly. Deviled eggs with trout roe and sesame—filthy in the best way. Cod and trout, because restraint is for cowards. Burrata that doesn’t beg for attention. Kale that earns its place. Sourdough with actual integrity. I was there with an ex. Don’t judge me. I was still wearing my current breakup like a perfume and we sat across from each other like two people who once knew every facial expression the other could make. The second drink hit. They looked at me and said: you aren’t bad at love. In a very tea way, you taught me how to love. How to accept it. Just like that. I dipped my bread in asparagus puree and chewed like it was a defense mechanism. Brunswick House is heavy with chandeliers and that candlelit ache. It doesn’t coddle. It seduces. It sneaks up on you and serves your own heart back to you on warm china. Go for the food. Stay for the emotional ambush. ”
“ Such a cool, beautiful restaurant & space. One of my favourites in London. Menu is an absolute tour de force of excellence!Such a cool mix of classics with funky touches & seasonal twists wonderfully executed. That plate of pickles & ferments..oof ! The Fig leaf pannacotta ( gorgeously light & barely set ) with peanut brittle was legendary & has gone into my top 3 desserts ever. Bravo to all involved .. deep respect. ”
